2.1 Your Right to Cancel

You have 14 days from the day after delivery to cancel a physical-product order without giving a reason, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

2.3 Returning the Product

2.4 Custom-Built PCs

Made-to-order PCs go into production as soon as the order is placed, so:

2.5 Restocking

Orders, Pricing and Payment

Digital Products (Software License Keys)

The majority of products on https://buynowkey.com are digital license keys sent to your email, usually within a few minutes of payment and, in any case, normally within 24 hours.

Once your digital products have been sent to the email address you provided — or once a key has been activated or registered with the manufacturer — it can no longer be returned or refunded simply because you changed your mind. This reflects the digital-content exception to the right of withdrawal explained under “Cancellation and Right of Withdrawal” below, and is standard practice across the software licensing industry.

If a key turns out to be faulty, invalid, or not as described, you remain fully covered by our Return and Refund Policy and our Buyer Protection.

Physical Products (Electronics)

Delivery

• For physical orders, we can only ship to the address at which your credit or debit card is registered.
• Delivery times can vary, and we always aim to be as quick as possible. If you are out when the courier calls, they will leave a card with the local depot’s contact details so you can arrange redelivery at a time that suits you.

Hardware Warranty

• Physical products supplied by Buy Now Key carry a non-transferable 1-year hardware warranty from the delivery date. This warranty does not cover defects arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accidents, or negligence by you or anyone else. Using a product against our recommendations, ignoring our instructions, or carrying out any unapproved alteration or repair will also void the warranty.
• Buy Now Key is not responsible for any data lost through software or hardware failure — please back up your data regularly to reduce the impact of any such event.
• Buy Now Key accepts no responsibility for any customer-supplied hardware brought to us for installation into a custom-built system.
• A product can sometimes appear faulty when nothing is physically wrong with it. Our engineers use industry-standard testing to identify the true nature of any reported issue, and our warranty covers hardware only.

Faults and Defective Products

Please let us know about any fault as soon as you notice it, ideally by email with your order details included. We will work with you toward the best outcome, whether that is a repair or a replacement. Occasionally a product reaches “end of life” before a fault appears; where an identical repair or replacement is not possible, Buy Now Key will provide an alternative with comparable performance. With graphics cards, for instance, that might mean a newer model achieving similar (+/- 5%) 3D Mark 2011 results to the original.

If you buy a system from Buy Now Key and later believe it is faulty, we will first remove any third-party hardware and restore the machine to its original shipped condition before testing, so we can confirm the supplied hardware works. Problems caused by hardware or software added after purchase should be raised with whoever supplied those items. Buy Now Key does not warrant that your system will work with any hardware or software not supplied and installed by one of our trained engineers.

Cancellation and Right of Withdrawal

Digital Products

Consumers have a 14-day right to cancel or withdraw from a distance contract. Because our license keys are digital content delivered straight away, you are asked at checkout to expressly request immediate delivery and to confirm that this right ends once your digital products have been sent to you. Until they are sent, you may withdraw at any time by using our Withdrawal Request form, and we will acknowledge your request by email. The full procedure is set out in our Return and Refund Policy.

Physical Products

Off-the-shelf physical products are covered by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Custom-built PCs and any product that is customised or made to order are exempt from the standard cancellation right to the extent those Regulations allow.

To cancel a physical-product order under those Regulations, please notify us by email within 14 days of receipt, quoting your order number and stating clearly that you wish to cancel. We will refund the price of the product(s) in full, including standard delivery, as soon as possible. Return shipping is at your cost, and items must come back in their original, re-saleable condition.

Custom-Built PCs

To cancel a custom-built PC order, you must notify us within 24 hours of placing it. After that point, Buy Now Key may apply a €35 cancellation fee, deducted from your refund, to cover components already set aside for your build.

Statutory Rights and Disclaimer

Buy Now Key is committed to honouring your statutory rights as a consumer. At the same time, to the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all liability for the supply of goods and services, and we cannot be held responsible for problems caused by events beyond our control or by third parties.
